Jon Evans, CEO at Enablis spent a frosty night sleeping outdoors at Sydney Cricket Ground last week to raise awareness for the plight of more than 100,000 Australians who sleep rough. He joined over 300 other executives who pitched a cardboard shelter to raise money for Vinnies.
“I am determined to do whatever I can personally to help Vinnies fight the homeless crisis”, says Jon Evans.
“Getting behind this fundraising initiative is one thing I can do, and I know that every dollar helps. Having been involved over the last few years, I have been able to get a deeper understanding of the problem. Unfortunately, this issue is only getting worse, so having the chance to raise awareness is also a good reason to be part of the whole initiative.”
