Russia / Ukraine Threat Preventatives & Resources

As the world watches the tragic situation unfolding in the Ukraine, our thoughts are with the people of the Ukraine and to everyone impacted.

There are now multiple government warnings about threats and cyberattacks related to this crisis. The Enablis team would like to let you know that we are watching this situation closely and working with our security partners to ensure our customers have access to the right threat/ security solutions in place and access to resources for support.

• Ensure all external internet traffic into your network is via a firewall such as Palo Alto Networks firewall
• Put in place comprehensive network security for your remote workers eg. Secure Access Service Edge
• Ensure your firewall operates real time threat protection
• Ensure your firewall operating system is running at a current safe level
• Enable Geo location blocking where possible to restrict vulnerabilities from Malware Associated with possible Russian Cyber Attacks
• Ensure you have end point security across as much of your environment as possible such as Crowdstrike Falcon Complete
• Ensure your email is protected by an email filtering service such as Mimecast’s solution.

• You can access the Palo Alto Networks Resource Centre to get updates on the evolving threat landscape and sign up for live threat briefings via the Resource centre.
• Monitor the Unit 42 blog for the latest research, information and threat intelligence.

• Threat Intelligence Assistance Package: A Russia / Ukraine Intel Assistance Package which includes 15 reports, including an IOC listing from the past 45 days of the five most active BEAR (Russia) adversaries that CrowdStrike is tracking.
• Threat Briefings:  A Russia / Ukraine threat brief and operationalization session with CrowdStrike Intel Advisor teams. This threat brief is followed up by a direct call to action that is designed to provide your customers not only intelligence capabilities, but also Falcon Identity, Falcon Complete, and other capabilities within the Emerging Technologies space.
