Enablis Supports charity clients in challenging times
As the impacts of COVID-19 still ripple through Australia and the World many charities have been affected with decreased support and donations.
Local and global charities have been impacted by the lockdown measures put in place and by the economic ramifications of businesses closing and many people losing their jobs.
Many charity groups and organisations say they are set to miss out on millions of dollars with the cancellation of traditional fundraising events and street campaigns due to social distancing restrictions.
In a recent article on ABC net, it was revealed in a report by the Centre for Social Impact and not-for-profit organisation – Social Venture Australia that there is a forecast of massive revenue drops and estimated to be more than 200,000 job losses in the charity sector due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Enablis team are aware that many fundraising activities and care services have been affected since March.
“As Enablis has worked with key Australian Not for Profit clients for many years – when we ran our six-monthly customer satisfaction survey in June/July this year we wanted to support these clients in some way”,said Jon Evans, Enablis CEO.
We asked each survey respondent to nominate one of our valued Not For Profit customers to receive a $50 donation for their completed survey.
Our valued NFP customers charities include; Araluen, CanTeen, The Benevolent Society, and YMCA.
“This was a way to show our support for the great work all Not for Profit organisations do within our community. Our aim is to help in some way to give support for people in need,” added Jon Evans, Enablis CEO.
