Last week, we celebrated a successful year by taking our valued customers out on magnificent Sydney Harbour for a great afternoon of sailing. Filling three racing yachts, we undertook training from Flying Fish Sail Academy and completed three races around the Harbour.
It’s been a fantastic year for Enablis, and we are grateful for our customers’ support over 2019. Let’s all take the time now to relax and recharge, ready for 2020!
After some warm-up activities, featuring the most competitive game of paper scissor rock I, the author, have ever experienced (and I won, by the way, so the competitiveness obviously ignited something in me!), the main event was finally revealed to us – a billy kart building competition, culminating in the ultimate billy kart race!
The competition in building and decorating the billy karts was strong, and every team put in a tremendous effort. But what added the icing to an already tremendously successful afternoon was that these karts we built – we were donating them to charity,
The karts were donated to The Benevolent Society, a long-time partner of ours. Henrietta Foulds, Director of Operations at The Benevolent Society, said, “I just wanted to say on behalf of my team, a huge thank you for the brightly coloured (and well put together !) billy carts. They really are fantastic and the many kids we work with in our programs will love them!”
